Play Pearl Sort free

Pearl Sort is a calm sorting puzzle in the jade dragon's grotto, behind the falls of Nami's pond. Silk cords hang from a bamboo rail, each threaded with up to four pearls. Slide them from cord to cord until every cord holds four of one colour, then set the jade dragon's own glowing pearl home in its shell. It's free, it plays right here on a phone or a computer, and there's nothing to download.

How to play

Tap a cord to lift its top pearls, then tap another cord to slide them on: onto an empty cord, or onto pearls of the same colour with room to spare. One pearl glows: it's the jade dragon's own, and it matches nothing, so it goes only to the shell or to an empty cord. Until it's home, the shell holds any one pearl, a spare spot when you're stuck. Each colour also carries a small mark, so you never need to tell colours apart by colour alone.

Today's pearls and the ladder

Today's pearls are the same puzzle for everyone, new at midnight UTC, a little harder at the weekend. The ladder climbs through 200 puzzles, from three colours to eight. Every puzzle is checked to be solvable, and its par is the fewest moves it can be done in: match par for an AAA, finish within three for an AA. Undo is free, and you get three hints a puzzle.
